The resort had friendly staff and a beautiful beach location, making it a relaxing getaway. However, the food options were limited, and the hotel itself needs renovations. While the service was good, some amenities could use improvement.

I really enjoyed this cozy spot! The beachfront access and relaxing outdoor pool made it easy to unwind. Just a heads up, the rooms could use a little cosmetic touch-up, but it didn’t take away from the fun we had! 🌴

The decor needs a serious update!!! The jacuzzi took ages to fill, and the lack of clear signage around the resort made it tough to navigate efficiently!!!

The spot sits right on a stunning stretch of beach, making it easy to lounge in the sun or dive into water sports. Rooms offer views of the turquoise ocean, a perfect backdrop for those lazy afternoons by the shore.
The hotel shows its age. rooms feel outdated and carry a scent of overwhelming cleaning chemicals that may put off some guests. Not only is the pool area small, but it often gets crowded, limiting the space for a dip or relaxation. Dining options lack variety, with buffet items frequently served cold and background music becoming monotonous after a few meals. Some choices, like nachos, missed the mark with stale chips and minimal toppings, leaving you craving better bites. My experience at the bar was mixed. while cocktails flowed, a bizarre incident with a sangria had me questioning the quality of the drinks.

I recently stayed at Sunset Royal Cancun and had a mix of moments. The beach absolutely shines with its gorgeous white sand and beautiful aqua blue water. I loved spending time there under the cabana-style huts, enjoying the attentive beachside service. The dining experience impressed me too, especially with the fantastic service at the main restaurants. The food was good at both, but having the same menu every day got a bit repetitive. Our room was spacious, clean, and came with a stocked fridge. The jacuzzi bathtub was a nice touch, though it didn't work consistently. The staff was without a doubt friendly, but I had a frustrating experience at check-in. We were initially given two separate rooms instead of the 2-bedroom suite we reserved, which led to a 4-hour hassle to sort out. The pool was smaller than I expected and only one was available, which limited our options. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable, adding to the experience, but some of the service in the second restaurant was lacking. Also, if you're expecting to order alcohol before 11 a.m. with the all-inclusive package, that's not an option.

The room was really comfy, felt like a home away from home. Clean and decorated nicely, with a beautiful view of the beach. I loved the easy navigation throughout the resort, making it simple to enjoy everything. Just a couple of minor things, I could hear some noise from outside at times, and the bathroom could've used a bit more updating.
